Which Is Better - Artificial Flowers or Fresh Flowers?

Let us take a look at the pros and cons between artificial flowers and fresh flowers. First of all with artificial flowers there is no mess to clean, no liquids to get spilt, no soil to prune, just put it down and go about your life. Another good feature about artificial flowers is the moment you have it, there is absolutely no reason to spend another dime buying the same thing, and it will remain for a very long period. They may require a little dusting now and then, but this can easily be achieved by rubbing them with a slightly damp water cloth, or giving them a quick bath with some soapy liquid. Note not all artificial flowers can be washed. They will never get too big for their vases or pots as the case may be, and will definitely not need any nurturing.

Artificial Flowers are a beautiful gift for someone, because they will have them long after the special occasion is over, unlike real fresh flowers that will eventually wither and die. They might be a bit expensive but are worth it in the long run, because it is like a medium to long term investment where you can see your moneys worth for a long time to come. Another good point to note is they are available everywhere, you do not need to go to the Florist to get a creation, there are many stores which stock these and they come in a wide variety to suit your special occasion, whether it is a promotion, or Easter or a wedding anniversary, there are lots to choose from.

Fresh flowers on the other hand need special daily care, but they smell so wonderful and look so lovely that some people would rather use their money on these than on artificial flowers. Even though they are aware it will only last a few days. A beautiful arrangement of say fresh red roses given to someone on a special occasion would definitely be more loved than an artificial arrangement, because for some reason it feels more caring than a bunch of artificial flowers.

In the professional world, artificial flowers in the office certainly appears to outnumber the demand for fresh flowers. It is more feasible to buy artificial flowers particularly big artificial trees, palm and fern are a good example, to enhance the office environment, without the worry of having to care for them on a daily basis and it also eliminates the problem of arriving in the office on a Monday morning only to find that the plants are almost dead because they did not get enough water over the weekend, not to mention the problem of dead leaves and petals all over the floor.
